What is automatic recognition?
Automatic recognition is an alternative to applying for a general evaluation of a higher education qualification.
It provides a standardised statement showing which level in the Icelandic education system a foreign qualification is comparable to. This service does not provide an individual educational assessment.
How to use automatic recognition
Compare the degree title on your educational document with the qualifications listed below. This shows how ENIC/NARIC Iceland normally compares that qualification with Icelandic degrees.
You can download and print the relevant statement immediately, without submitting an application. The statements are available in English only and can be presented to employers and educational institutions.
